Bluetti B480 2022

As someone who deeply appreciates our world and is addicted to the  outdoors, I vowed never ever to use a fuel generator again…Bluetti B480…

As energy use is worried, my outdoor camping trips and RV vacations are near-to-zero emissions.

What do I use?

As of this year, my go-to solar package is the Bluetti AC200P paired with three 200W portable solar panels.

Is it the best one around? It most likely is.

Is it perfect? No, it still has space for improvement but it definitely sets a requirement that is difficult to beat.

So why is everyone in the off-grid community raving about the AC200P?

When the UPS man unloads the package to your curbside, taking the whole box inside might require some correct deadlifting.
The first thing that came to my mind was, “Is this their idea of portable?”

A portable power station is rapidly becoming an essential tool for households and services, especially those who require to venture out or work remotely (think outside employees, emergency situation services and so on), bringing the magic of electricity to far-reaching places. Contemporary portable power station can power a small heating unit in the depths of winter season or an air-conditioning system in summer’s hottest days.

When shopping for one, output power and battery autonomy are the most crucial requirements we look for while ease of use and the number of outlets are also important factors. The ability to charge quickly together with long-life batteries finish the function list of a modern-day portable power station.

The Bluetti Technology business, founded in 2016, focuses on all-in-one power storage items. They just recently finished a very successful Indiegogo financing for their flagship item, the AC200P, collecting over $6.7 M throughout the campaign. This is presently viewed as the portable power station to beat by the competition thanks to its long feature list, enormous battery system and a/c inverter.

There’s no lying about it. This solar power station is not on the light side. It’s the size of a family pet carrier or cabin luggage. Still, I hesitate no airline company will let you get aboard with this one.

With a bit over 60 pounds, you’ll wish you bought the trolley (sold independently) if you need to move it around a lot.

When you begin unboxing it, it all starts making sense. The Bluetti AC200P is made of difficult flame-retardant ABS plastic and aluminum that looks like it can take some beating.

The diagonal pinstripes on the front program that Mr. Bluetti means business, and the two deals with formed in the frame promise a secure grip.

Kudos for design and durability!!

Out of package, the AC200P resembles a small travel baggage however at 27.5 Kg, its weight puts it in the heavy item classification. A black plastic finish with diagonal stripes provides a rugged and professional look while two manages moulded in the frame aid move the portable power station around safely.

ac 300 by blue eddy and the growth b300 batteries that it includes and over the last month i’ve been running this system each and every single day so in today’s video we’re going to discuss my experience and what i think about the system so first of all this is a modular solar energy system this system has a solar charge controller has the inverter and it has the dc outputs however this system does not have a battery you can’t even turn it on there is no internal battery at all so to turn it on you require to connect it to the expansion batteries with these growth cables i grumbled about these cables in my a/c 200 max video but i believe that these were created for this system this system is much bigger and it really looks a lot much better when these are linked on the side these are some big growth batteries guys they have lithium iron phosphate cells so they’re pretty darn heavy however each one can store 3072 watt hours what’s interesting is each b300 has its own state of charge indicator it has a 12 volt output and it has usb ports and it has a primary on and off switch and having these expansion batteries allows this primary unit to have a larger inverter circuit and a larger solar charge controller on this primary unit we have a 3 000 watt inverter and get this this thing can deal with 2 400 watts of solar input it has 2 different mppts and each one can manage 1200 watts and on previous blue eddy models you had to use this enormous power supply to charge it on this one it has an integrated ac charger and you just plug in a cable and you can charge it a max rate of 3000 watts and personally i’ve.

4 large rubber feet support the case and avoid the unit from slipping. Input power sockets exist on the left side while cooling fans lie both on the best and left sides. Front output sockets are protected by rubber flaps that avoid dust particles from entering the case. The flat top can be used as a little table and integrates two 15W cordless chargers.
